New luxury hotel in Marbella boasts state-of-the-art spa and Michelin cuisine

The Hotel Monteros Marbella has been part of the hotel scene in the city since 1962 and has now undergone somewhat of a transformation.

After joining the IHG Hotels and Resorts group the hotel is now the Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella.

The property is just 500m from the shore but that might not even be the top selling point.

Instead, it’s perhaps the state-of-the-art spa by Maison Codage which features a hammam, foot bath, indoor pool, and a hydrotherapy circuit and sauna among its beauty and wellness offerings.

For the more energetically-minded, the hotel also provides daily yoga sessions and access to golf lessons and tennis courts.

Then there’s the food offering which is a blend of Mexican and Spanish Michelin-starred cuisine and next-level cocktails which can be enjoyed across a range of venues including the Jara Escondido Rooftop bar. Perfect for sundowners!
