Police bust Miami sunglass thieves with stolen shades worth more than $900K​on February 11, 2025 at 11:30 pm

Police Chief Manuel Morales put the stolen shades on display Tuesday.

He said they are worth about $900,000 and came from Sunglass Hut stores in Tennessee and South Carolina.

Police said three Miami men were behind the heist.

According to authorities, they rented a car and then broke into the stores before shipping the glasses via UPS back to a home in the 1100 Block of Northwest 34th Avenue in Miami.

Those three men were all arrested in Tennessee.
