It’s an extra special St Patrick’s Day weekend for Marie Crowe and her family as she’s welcomed her fourth child into the world – and her first daughter!
The sports presenter and her husband Billy Sheehan are already parents to sons Timmy, 12, Billy, 10, and Davie, eight.
Sharing news of their little one’s arrival and revealing her sweet name, Marie posted a series of snaps of the newborn taken at the hospital and back home with her brothers.

One photo shows Marie cradling her daughter while sitting in a hospital bed alongside the caption: ‘Girl baby alert – Jessie arrived 15-03-25.’
Others show Jessie happily snoozing in her brothers’ arms while wearing an adorable yellow knitted jumper and hat.

Marie also praised the staff at the Coombe Hospital, writing: ‘All the people working in the Coombe Hospital are absolute heroes.’
Jessie might only be a few days old but she’s already had a visitor, with new senator Evanne Ní Chuilinn paying a visit to Marie over the weekend.
Marie joked that she and Evanne surprised each other with their recent news, with Marie having a little girl and Evanne leaving sports journalism for a career in politics.
Speaking in January, Marie revealed that she didn’t know the gender of her fourth child. ‘It’s a big surprise… honestly don’t mind,’ she said.

The presenter continued: ‘With three boys, I feel like I’ve won the lottery. So whatever comes after that is a bonus.’
Marie also spoke about how her three sons were preparing for the new arrival, gushing: ‘My boys are really excited about coaching this little baby.
‘They have big plans. They have big plans to bring him or her out to the garden and teach them football and all that sort of stuff.’
