FORT WORTH, Texas — A suspect robbed a woman of a wedding ring on a Fort Worth trail area on Monday morning, police said.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. in the 3800 block of Overton Park Drive, which runs along a trail area through the Overton Park neighborhood in southwest Fort Worth. Police said the victim was approached by someone armed with a gun who demanded her belongings. The woman gave up her wedding ring, and the suspect told her to leave the area, police said.
Officers responded and searched the area but didn’t find the suspect. No injuries were reported. A police incident report listed another victim who was with the woman at the time of the robbery. More information has not been released.
