I also do not agree with Doug Ford’s stance on the use of photo radar.

Governments have found a source of funds to fix roads and sidewalks. Hooray! Will Mr. Ford replace all those dollars used to fund the repairs desperately needed in most towns and cities?
He calls it a cash grab. People who deliberately break speeding laws should suffer consequences, people who allow others the use of their vehicle, who break speeding laws, should be held responsible; they should make better choices.
Where is the money going to come from to install speed bumps, flashing lights on large signs, roundabouts, etc.? You and me, the taxpayers. Where is the money going to come from, now, to fix roads and sidewalks? An increase in taxes — where else? That includes all the citizens who obey speed limits. How many years will it take to complete?

CAN’T SUPPORT FORD
The United States has Donald J. Trump and we have Doug Ford. Before I continue, full disclosure, I’m a lifelong supporter of the Conservative Party, but not Doug Ford. His actions of pouring a bottle of whisky on the ground was pure theatre. Ford’s edict to the LCBO to remove American distilled products from the shelves was stupidity at best. A ton of sales revenue flew out the window. Maybe he should have given a heads-up to the LCBO about his intentions? How are overall sales at the LCBO doing now?

THE GREAT PUMPKIN?
Watching our spineless PM in the Oval Office reminded me of the hapless Charles Schulz character Charlie Brown from the cartoon pages. A little over two weeks before Halloween and Carney goes to meet Trump, knocks on the White House door, says trick or treat, holds out his open pillow case and gets a rock.
