THEY LABELLED KIRK
I make a point of not watching the CBC. I find their extreme far-left bias and reporting repulsive. The other day, however, I just had to tune in to see and hear what they would have to say about the vicious killing of Charlie Kirk.

Well, they came through for me as they labelled Kirk as a “far-right activist.” A decent, law-abiding family man who was killed in no way deserves to be tarred and feathered for his political convictions.

What is going on at Canadian universities? First we had the hatred and threats toward Jewish students, and now we have a vile post condoning violence against free speech from a U of T professor.
The last thing we need in Canada is the divisive politics and social condemnation of others that seems to be the norm in the United States today.
It’s time to do what Canadians have always done well: listen to each other and find a consensus. If not, we will end up like our neighbours to the south.

STOP RAIL LINE INSANITY
Can someone please stop the insanity of building a high-speed rail line from Toronto to Quebec City, for the mere initial design cost of $3.9 billion, just to appease a few passengers and reduce their travel times.
This is another Mirabel Airport in the making, and I am sure part of the reasoning is to appease all the city voters who stretch along its route.
With the endless supply of worthwhile projects this money could be put towards, this one reeks of some sort of favouritism in order to garner votes.
